They did end up fixing the issue, which I appreciate, but the replies were slow. I don’t think I’m being too picky for expecting a little more communication during a warranty claim, am I?

"Stayed dry on a miserable rainy hike"
I bought a rain jacket from arcteryx.com, and I was in a grumpy mood going into a full wet hike because the weather was awful. But the jacket really came through. The water just rolled right off, and I stayed dry the whole time. It’s definitely pricey, but the waterproofing worked great for me.

"Durable Jacket and a Practical Approach"
I appreciate that Arc’teryx seems to take repairs and long-lasting gear seriously. My jacket has held up really well, it just makes sense to buy something that doesn’t need replacing every season. It feels less wasteful and better value in the long run. I’m giving 4 stars because I do wish their ethics info was easier to find and a bit more specific instead of feeling so broad. Still, compared to a lot of outdoor brands I’ve tried, they’re doing better.

"Really Frustrated With the Lack of Limits"
It feels like there are no restrictions anywhere, and that’s starting to become a real problem for me. At first I thought it might make things easier, but it just comes across as messy and poorly managed. I’ve been trying to stick with it, but if this doesn’t improve soon, I’m probably going to take my business somewhere else.

Whenever I need outdoor gear and don’t want to overthink it, I just end up grabbing Arc’teryx. I’ve bought a few pieces over the years and they’ve all held up really well. The sizing has been spot on for me, shipping was totally fine, and I just trust the brand at this point. If I need something that isn’t going to fall apart after one trip, my first instinct is Arc’teryx

Ordered a jacket from arcteryx.com and my snap judgment right out of the box was that the color looked almost exactly like the photos. If anything, it’s maybe a tiny bit darker in person, but not enough to bug me. I do wish they showed a few more pictures in normal lighting, because that would’ve made it easier to know what to expect. Overall I’m happy with it, just wouldn’t call it absolutely perfect

"Great jacket, just a bit pricey"
I grabbed a jacket from Arc'teryx it’s been really good. The quality feels solid, the stitching is super clean, and it kept me dry the whole time on a rainy hike. I’m only knocking off one star because yeah, the price is steep. But the jacket itself is legit.

"Good gear, but price feels not great"
The gear itself is good and it does what it should, so I don’t have much complaint there. But for what I paid, it kind of feels like the value is not really matching. It’s nice, just maybe not nice enough for the cost, if that makes sense.

"Great shell and a really easy buying process"
I picked up a shell from Arc’teryx recently and overall I’m really happy with it. The zipper feels solid and smooth, even when I’m using it with gloves on, and the pull tabs and little hardware details all feel well made. The whole ordering process was easy too, which I always appreciate. I’m giving it 4 stars because one of the pocket zips was a little stiff at first. It did loosen up after a few wears, but for the price I kind of expected it to be perfect right out of the box

"Great lightweight shell!!"
I picked up a lightweight Arc'teryx shell from arcteryx it’s been awesome so far!! I tend to run warm, so I really care about breathability, and this one held up great on a damp hike without making me feel sweaty or clammy inside. The fit is solid too, which is always a plus. Really happy with it overall!!

I found the jacket in the size I wanted, which was great, but a few of the colors I liked were already gone. The shopping process was still easy overall though. Did anyone else run into the same issue with colors being sold out?
